My name is Amy Hollabaugh! Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved taking pictures. You could always find me with my disposable camera snapping away. Photography has always been my passion, but it became more of an obession back in 2005. I knew shortly after my wedding (and a terrible experience concerning my wedding pictures) that I wanted to become a wedding photographer. That is how I got my start in custom photography.
My Style
My photography style is primarily candid and modern, but I will of course shoot traditional shots as well. While I prefer natural lighting, I do provide a home studio set up with top-of-the-line equipment. My goal as a photographer is not only to take pictures that will be memories forever, but also to provide a fun experience for you and your family. I want to get to know you on a personal level and to discover your unique style. I try to be different and think outside the box when it comes to my photography. I may also travel to your home, a location of your choice, or I will suggest my favorite locations.
Sessions
My sessions usually last between one to three hours depending on children, location, situation, etc. It is not a problem if sessions last longer. Infants and children may need a nap, break, feeding, or snack. I encourage breaks especially for small children. When photographing children, I interact with them first and get to know them so they are more comfortable with myself and my camera. This will help make your experience very memorable.
My goal in EVERY photo session (whether it be maternity, infant, children, engagement, wedding, graduation pictures, etc.) is to capture your life in the moment. The sky is the limit!
More About Me
I have a undergraduate and masters degree in elementary education and am currently working as a kindergarten teacher. I love working with children, and now I get to integrate my love of children with photography.
